Jordan Manekin, Founding Partner

Jordan Manekin has built his career advising the most important entertainment and technology companies on critical business and legal issues. At Showcase Ventures, Jordan is a Founding Partner and sits on the Investment Committee. Day-to-day, he actively supports investment diligence and portfolio company value creation.

Additionally, Jordan is the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of The Sandbox. In his dual role, Jordan oversees the company’s legal and business affairs, and business and financial operations, helping to chart and guide the company’s strategic growth across all divisions.

Prior to joining The Sandbox, Jordan was a partner at a top entertainment law firm. His clients included global media companies and A list actors, musicians and producers. In 2020, Jordan was named to Variety’s Legal Impact Report, recognizing his growing influence at the intersection of media and law. 

After leaving the law firm, Jordan served as General Counsel of Metaphysic, where he negotiated first-of-their-kind generative AI agreements with major studios, record labels, networks, governments and SAG-AFTRA, while helping shape industrywide standards for ethical AI use in entertainment.

Jordan remains a trusted advisor to Live Nation Productions, Sony Music Vision, and Brahma AI (including Metaphysic), and regularly counsels actors, artists, and founders on complex negotiations, strategic growth, and brand architecture.

Jordan graduated from Georgetown University and received his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law.
