Hoyt Halvorson, Founding Partner

Hoyt Halvorson's investment experience spans both the public and private markets, and he has invested more than $2 billion of capital over the last fifteen years. At Showcase Ventures, Hoyt is a Founding Partner and sits on the Investment Committee. Day to day, Hoyt supports investment diligence and fundraising efforts.

Hoyt launched his career in 2011 at Frist Capital, the investment office for the founding family of HCA Healthcare. During his tenure, he pursued investment opportunities in internet infrastructure, asset management, consumer finance, media and entertainment, retail, hospitality, industrial, and health care services. Hoyt served as a board member of several early stage and growth ventures: the largest privately held out-of-home advertising company in the US, a leading sell-side programmatic advertising platform in the digital out-of-home market, and a real estate investment company in the marina industry.

In 2023, Hoyt founded Telegram Partners, a value-oriented private investment partnership, where he manages a long-only portfolio of US public equities.

Hoyt graduated from Covenant College and received his MBA from Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.
