Brian Wade, Managing Partner

Brian Wade has dedicated his career to investing in and advising media and consumer-facing companies, operating under the belief that strong brands are built on deep, emotional connections with consumers. Brian is the Managing Partner of Showcase Ventures, responsible for leading all activities of the firm. He chairs the Investment Committee.

Before launching Showcase Ventures, Brian served as a Managing Director at Virgo Investment Group, a firm with over $1.8 billion invested to date. Brian invested and oversaw a portfolio with over $200 million in invested capital, with a focus on Series A and B rounds. At Virgo, he established the media and entertainment vertical and led investments across diverse sectors, including live events, music publishing, food and beverage, advertising, and healthcare. Brian honed his operational insight through an 18-month secondment as interim CFO for OGX Productions.

Earlier in his career, Brian was an Investment Associate at TA Associates, where he supported large buyouts and sourcing. He began his career in the Technology, Media, and Telecom Investment Banking group for Wells Fargo Securities, advising clients on significant M&A and capital-raising activities.

Brian is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University.
